for Central Bedfordshire Council. 
Recently successfully completed consultancy for unitary Central Bedfordshire Council undertaking migration to Cisco IPT and ongoing management of Telephony and Data infrastructure for 2500 users at 92 locations throughout council (5 main back office sites including 65 seat customer services, schools including PRU, assisted living, adult day care, library services, youth services, children’s services including Fostering and Adoption),
Responsibilities included day to day operation of Telephony network, optimization of network to ensure most cost effective whilst meeting users requirements, capacity planning, supplier negotiation including SLA management, Coco compliance adherence including for schools and adult education. Proactive Management of vendor billing to ensure accuracy including reporting to senior management. Presentations to senior management of telecoms strategy for council.
Technology deployed included 0300 non geographic numbers, Cisco Callmanager V7. Cisco managed POE switches, Virgin Media MPLS and IPVPN services, Updata SDSL managed services, BT business broadband, MS OCS voicemail, Contact Centre Cisco UCCE Automatic Call Distribution, IEX Workforce Management, NICE Call recording and BTS call accounting and directory system.
Additional duties included: Vendor selection, tariff negotiation and rollout of 1200 Orange handsets/PDAs to council employees including bespoke training programme.
